Clarifying Turnaround Times

Turnaround time refers to the period between when a translation project is assigned to a translator and when the final document is delivered to the client. It does not begin when the order is placed, as our team first needs to process the request. This involves verifying order details like the number of pages, reviewing client notes, and ensuring that the provided files are legible, accurate, and match the specified source language.

We process orders from 9 am to 9 pm (UTC+8), or 2 AM to 2 PM (BST), seven days a week, with occasional availability outside these hours. To ensure the quickest processing, we recommend placing your order during these standard times. Understanding the urgency of many client requests, we strive to assign projects to translators promptly after order processing.

Turnaround time is influenced by several factors, including word count, the language pair, current demand, translator availability, and the complexity of the document. Since all of our translations are done by human professionals, we provide estimated rather than exact completion times.

When you place an order, we’ll provide an estimated digital delivery time. If you request a physical copy, please factor in additional time for shipping. We ship hard copies Monday through Friday, but we require your approval of the translation before shipment. Shipping estimates will be provided at checkout based on the delivery location.

If you need an estimated turnaround time before placing an order, you can request a quote.

Expedited Turnaround

For both standard and certified translations, we offer an expedited service option. By choosing this, your order will be prioritized, and additional work hours will be scheduled to reduce the digital delivery time by roughly 60%.

If you’re also receiving a hard copy and require fast delivery, we offer expedited shipping options as well.

Delivery Options

We prefer to assign a single translator to an entire project to ensure consistency in tone, word choice, and formatting, resulting in a high-quality translation. However, if your deadline requires faster turnaround and the content can be split among multiple translators, we can accommodate that. This approach can significantly shorten the completion time depending on the number of translators involved, and we do not charge extra for this service.

Please contact our support team for more details, as these requests are handled on a case-by-case basis.
