Chinese Degree Certificate Translation for UK Universities and Employers

I translate Chinese degree (学位证) and graduation (毕业证) certificates for UK university and employer applications. You receive a signed ITI-certified English PDF for £30 per 250-word page. I confirm the page count and delivery estimate after reviewing your scans; send both certificates through the quote form below. For UK ENIC’s Statement of Comparability, check its free Chinese Translation Waiver first.

How ordering works from Shanghai

  • 09:00–22:00 China time (UK: 02:00–15:00 BST; 01:00–14:00 GMT).
  • Signed PDF in 2 working days after clear files; express within 24 hours +50%; urgent within 2 hours +100% (short documents, ask first).
  • UK ITI Qualified Member (MITI) seal and signed accuracy statement included in £30/250-word page.
  • Paper copies by international express from Shanghai on request; most of my clients submit PDF or colour printout for UK official purposes.
  • WeChat Pay, Alipay (RMB), PayPal, bank transfer.

Two certificates with different meanings

A 毕业证书 records completion of a programme; a 学位证书 records the degree awarded. They have separate numbers, signatures and seals. I translate the wording printed on each rather than treating the pair as one certificate. If you have a 结业证书, I identify it as a completion certificate, not a graduation certificate.

What a UK recipient asks for

UCAS recommends an officially translated copy alongside an original certificate or transcript that is not in English. It calls a translation official when a recognised, qualified certifying translator supplies a signed accuracy confirmation and credentials. University postgraduate offices and employers may set their own document list, so send me the recipient’s wording if you have it.

UK ENIC can be different

For a personal Statement of Comparability, UK ENIC offers a free Translation Waiver for Chinese. That lets you submit the Chinese original for that service without buying my translation. An employer or university may still ask for an English version for its separate process.

How I prepare the file

Send clear scans of both sides of each certificate and your passport name spelling. I translate award names, issuing institution, dates, seals and handwritten notes as printed, then add a signed statement of accuracy, date and contact details. A translation describes the award; it is not a UK qualification-equivalence assessment. See my degree and graduation certificate guide.

FAQs

Send both if you have them. The receiving university or employer decides which it needs; I quote each document after review.

No. I translate the award as printed. UK ENIC or the receiving institution makes any comparability decision.

For UK ENIC’s personal Statement of Comparability, Chinese is covered by its free Translation Waiver. Check that route before ordering a translation.

The stated rate is £30 per 250-word page, including the signed PDF. I confirm the page count after seeing all sides.

I give an estimated digital delivery time after reviewing the legibility, length and deadline, in line with the site’s turnaround guidance.
